Mutua, Silvester Kisila James

Mr. Silvester Mutua is a lecturer in Journalism, communication and film production studies. His interests are in development communication, Broadcast journalism and film production and directing. Mutua has over twenty years of cumulated teaching experience in the two areas. He has also consulted widely in the same fields. Mutua is also a curriculum developer, He designed and wrote the curriculum for BA Film Production and Directing and BA Animation programs. He has also played a key role in the BA journalism review and assessment. Mutua is also a prolific writer, producer and director in documentary and feature film genres. His research areas are in film studies, journalism and communication for development.
